Digital Media Developer
For our creative head office in Amsterdam, we are looking for a digital media developer to complement the marketing communication team.

As a digital media manager you are responsible for the design, development and optimization of Webbased Interactive Multi Media concepts. This comprises seasonal and non-seasonal communication on the various digital multimedia platforms to diverse audiences (B2E, B2B and B2C) in line with the strategy of the brands of the Veldhoven Group. You will manage an external multifunctional team of freelancers of designers and developers. You will review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively deliver the communication in line with the business objectives. You can adjust the needs and wishes of all brands of VeldhovenGroup in relevant and tasteful digital communication concepts and scenarios.
Experience/Education:
- 5+ years, plus 2 years management experience of Web team/projects.
- BA or MFA Digital Media, Interaction Design, or related degree.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing .
- strong understanding the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brands of the VeldhovenGroup.
- Familiarity with brand marketing sites , Understanding of the principles of design for digital communications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a Digital team & process.
- Experience in development optimization techniques to deliver the best user experiences in the most technically efficient manner.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/ CSS, Flash/ Actionscript 2.0/ 3.0, LAMP, Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
